About

My photographic journey started as a child when I spent hours upon hours looking through my parents magazines with a sudden realization at 8 years old that ‘someone took these photos’. I’ve had a camera in hand basically since.

For the past 20+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, witness countless love stories unfold, and celebrate the growth of families. With an emphasis on the human condition, connection, and the beauty in life’s most fleeting moments, I’m in total awe of the gift of this medium and all it has provided in my life.

As a result of extensive experience in both lifestyle and commercial photography, I am able to provide a sense of professionalism and ease to each and every shoot, as well as a keen eye for detail and light.

Born and raised in CA, I am currently based in NYC with my husband, Tim, and our two young (and very active and very emotional!) boys. Our life is full and messy and wildly imperfect. The exquisite nature of it all only inspires me more to capture the beauty of the ‘in between’ for all of my clients.

A few extra bits:

I am an enneagram 2/3, which is oddly appropriate for the nature of this work

I love dark chocolate with sea salt, herbal tea, tequila, and (printed) books

I graduated with a BFA in photography from The Academy of Art University

A small portion of each booking goes into a monthly donation to One Tree Planted

I wholeheartedly believe transparency, compassion, a good sense of humor, and kindness can move mountains

Artist’s Statement

My goal is for these images to tell your story. I want them to feel how the day felt. I want them to celebrate you, your love, and your unique vision. I want them to be honest and open. Beautiful and bold. Intimate and timeless.

I believe the process should be fun, easy going, respectful, and full of laughter!

I view this work as a collaboration between all of us. Trusting each other each step of the way. It is a true privilege to be invited in to document such a significant, personal, and joyful time in your lives. It’s not something I take lightly or for granted.

Most of all, I hope you look back on your photos 40 years from now and still feel connected to them and the entire experience.
